About

Plot & Pattern

When I chose my graduate program in marriage and family therapy, I chose it because it was close to home and sounded interesting. I had no idea that the systemic mindset I was going to learn would shape not only my clinical orientation, but the way I see the world. I have not been shy about my belief that everyone should be exposed to this way of thinking-- that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and that we would do well to consider our roles in the many systems we participate in.

It's that believe that drove my decision to create Plot & Pattern CE. My goal is to teach systemic concepts to therapists and other helping professionals who are interested in working with couples and families, or even those interested in radically shifting the way they work with individuals.
